Applications

The following symbols indicate the applications, for which the pigments described here are particularly recommended.
Oil Absorption
Measured in accordance to DIN 53199. Determined by the spatula method consisting of regular mixing of drops of oil onto powder pigment until wetting is complete.
It is expressed as grams of oil per 100grams of pigment.
Heat Resistance(°C)
Resistance to heat was tested according to DIN 53772 in HDPE at SD 1/3 by injection moulding.
Light Fastness
The light fastness in white reduction was determined on injection moulded chips at SD 1/3 in xenon Arc Light according to DIN 54004. The full shade is tested without TiO2 in the same pigment concentration. Assessments were against the 8-step blue wool scale, where 8 refers to very good light fastness and 1 very poor light fastness.
Migration Resistance
Migration resistance is tested on a plasticized PVC film according to DIN 53775. Assessment is against the grey scale indication 5 for no-migration and 1 for severe migration.
